Hi.

School is kicking my ass. I hate doing this thing called PACT.

Hershey died. She woke up on Wednesday and half of her body was paralyzed. My mom and the kids were already on their way to Disneyland and Dieter was going to leave the next day. Instead of leaving it to me and gma to take care of her and possibly deal with the horribleness that is a dog dying, Dieter decided to take her to the vet on Thursday AM. We think that she had a stroke and it just incapacitated her. She was put down that AM when the vet confirmed there was nothing that could be done. Her quality of life was down to nil and I think that she is probably much better off this way. Lucy has been lonely without her, but we are dealing. Today she played with Wilbur the pig a bit.

Even though I know it was her time, it was hard saying goodbye after having Hershey in the family for so long. She could be a real stinker, but she was very smart and loyal.

so yeah, I am not much for updating on a regular basis lately. I am concentrating on completing my 2 giant assignments for graduation. I walk on June 13 @ 4:00pm, but then have summer classes for another month. But that is it. I will be done. If only I could get a job...I'm working on it. I even have a snazzy white suit.
